Glenn Hermanson

Glenn has been in the financial services industry since 1997. In 2009, he was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 5280 and CoBiz magazines. He began his career at the Charles Schwab Corporation as a licensed broker and eventually senior trainer and options trading specialist for Schwab's new broker training program. During his tenure with Schwab, Glenn worked with a team of brokers who provided equity, bond, mutual fund and advanced option trading to 150 of Schwab's active trader clients with combined assets in excess of $100 million. Glenn also served on the firm's IPO desk, helping to bring companies such as Redhat, Sycamore Networks and United Parcel Service to the public marketplace.
Prior to founding Hoffmann Hermanson, Glenn was the President and Principal of Ascent Financial Solutions, a Registered Investment Advisor in Denver, Colorado. Glenn holds the Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation and completed his Masters Degree in finance from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2003. Glenn has served the Denver Asset Building Coalition annually since 2004 by providing volunteer income tax services to low income Denver area residents. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and golfing in addition to playing guitar and piano with a local band. Glenn's wife Shine Line is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner in Denver.
